I don’t usually gravitate towards photos taken in the US, but this is gorgeous.

enchantedengland: travelingcolors is a wonderful global travel blog. Just ignore the spelling. And he is a very nice fellow, which may not matter to you when you follow someone, but it does to me. Mean people suck.
Atop St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England. I want to know how this person got up there. I would SO DO THIS!! There is no point in me going to London because I would be arrested the first day I am there. ANYWAY, here are some things you might not have known about St. Paul’s Cathedral:
- It sits at the highest point in the city of London, atop Ludgate Hill.
- The dome was inspired by St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome
- The church contains 19 bells in total, one being the Great Paul, which is the largest bell in the British Isles.
- The bell is only rung on occasions of a death in the royal family, the Bishop of London, or the Lord Mayor of London.
- In September 1940 a time-delayed bomb struck the cathedral which, had it detonated, would have destroyed the entire building. The bomb was successfully defused and removed by the Order of the Phoenixa detachment of Royal Engineers.
